About the Image(s)

Have 2 photographs for this month. The painterly effect is the one to be featured.
VIEW FROM MY GARDENING CHAIR: I garden, take long, leisurely break in swinging garden chair and then garden again. The breaks are the best. This is my view: Two paths that wander off on either side of oak tree. Since still stuck at home cause of pandemic needed an app to play with while relaxing in garden chair and found "Prisma" which fit the bill. Normally wouldn't pay $18 annual subscription fee but since stuck at home cause of coronavirus it's fun trying its wide selection of artistic filters to alter effect of my gardening photography. While hard selecting filter liked the best for this photograph went with this one as looked most like a painting.

Wow! you are truly an outstanding garden designer and photographer. Prisma is good and $$$. I usually use Waterlogue or Aquarella. Jerry   Posted: 06/04/2020 11:47:04

Thanks Jerry. Android, allows external SD cards to expand phone storage which allows me to store more photos, etc , but doesn't come close to offering apps that Apple does. Always a trade off.   Posted: 06/05/2020 07:49:25

I like your garden and the view. Your gnome makes the view and the photo. Prisma does an interesting job on the oak trunk. Overall this is a significant improvement on the original.   Posted: 06/04/2020 14:38:18

I like the gnome too. The painter effect is subtle but still evident. Are there many controls in PRISMA so you can control the amount of filtering?   Posted: 06/04/2020 17:53:27

Sol, the Prisma app offers 12 controls for each filter ranging from saturation, vibrance, temperature to vignette so lots to play with and personalize impact.   Posted: 06/05/2020 07:54:29

Gosh what a great garden! You must spend a lot of time enjoying it - especially at a time like this. I like the gnome and the many colors. Nice shot.

Your garden looks like a wonderful place to relax in. The app seems a bit pricey, but if you use it, no problem. Your final image looks great. Good job!

I'm envious of your garden but not the work to keep it so beautiful. You have been painting again and I love the effect. The gnome is a great focal point. Nice job.   Posted: 06/07/2020 18:08:01
