How I Did It

How can you pass up a sky like this? So another sunset. When I set the black point the image really popped and that's all I did to it other than a small crop and straighten.

The beach walkers give a true perspective to the scene that you captured.

I like you, never get tired of a good sunset or sunrise.

Last night I judged my first Zoom digital competition. Only one sunset was as sharp as yours. Guess what, the maker used an iPhone.   Posted: 05/02/2020 10:33:29

WOW, you hit the jackpot. The clouds, the brilliant color of the sunset, the silhouettes, placement of the horizon, all word well together. Good job!   Posted: 05/06/2020 14:51:32

The depth in this image is really great. A nice departure from the sunset pics we all see all the time.   Posted: 05/06/2020 20:37:16

What a beautiful image. You were at the right place at the right time. I'm really drawn by the colors in the sky and the reflection on the water. The silhouettes of the three walkers is an added bonus. Worthy of framing.   Posted: 05/07/2020 17:35:36

Gosh, Sol, this is a great sunset. Nicely captured. The three tiny figures add scale to the shy. The patterns in the clouds and the water add interest. I agree with Pamela, print it, or maybe sell it to a calendar company.

This is one dramatic almost threatening cloudy sunset cast against the calm stillness of the ocean and the leisurely walkers. Excellent composition bringing all elements together.   Posted: 05/14/2020 09:49:56

You caught something here that I have never seen in a sky shot--a serpentine curve throughout the illumination of the clouds. Well done.   Posted: 05/19/2020 16:02:20
