About the Image(s)

CITY PIER BOAT HOUSES on Lake Canandaigua, NY, one of New York's 11 Finger Lakes. Reflection of the rear of boat houses in the lake is what attracted me to this scene while visiting the area in October. Just a little adjustment in Snapseed.

The brilliant reds really make this image "POP". Running the water from the lower right hand corner, and the pier on the lower left side leads one into the scene. Good sharp image. Nicely done.   Posted: 12/10/2019 09:09:19

Both the lines and the colors stand out in this image. As Dave mentions, it is a very sharp image, down to the three pigeons on the roof. Did you adjust the blue in Snapseed, or was the October sky that blue? A lovely image.

Yes I always edit in Snapseed and used HD, curves tool and tune image to perfect all aspects of photograph and then finish in details part of the app.   Posted: 12/15/2019 17:29:09

Love the beautiful colors and reflection. The panoramic cropping eliminates all the extra negative space of the blue sky.

Beautiful image.   Posted: 12/12/2019 08:48:02

I love the colors, lines and reflections in this very peaceful scene. My only suggestion would be to take out the power lines in the top right corner. Great capture.   Posted: 12/15/2019 00:20:13

Its a shot meant for a calendar. Great colors and composition. It may be a bit over-saturated, but then on a calendar that is expected. Nice details. It might be interesting to revisit the scene during golden hour, too.

Great color and the diagonal line of the houses makes the image work. That pier on the lower left is a bother since it's not particularly interesting but since it does add a sense of depth I can live with it.   Posted: 12/18/2019 09:20:21
