Open House at the Baha’i House of Worship by Jerry Hug, APSA

December 2019 - Open House at the Baha’i House of Worship

About the Image(s)

Used the new super wide angle lens on the iPhone 11 Pro Max. In Snapseed I used Tune Image tools to: a. pull down the highlight to bring out the sky, b. Open up the shadows, c. Use a little bit of Ambiance and d. Add a little contrast. That’s it!

Good to see the super wide angle lens in action. It really makes the House of Worship stand out. The scene also appears to be sharp from front to back. Nice!   Posted: 12/10/2019 08:52:15

Thanks. I did use and forget to mention that I used the NEW ProCamera which now has VividHDR inside the app. This app is by Cocologics. It is a little $$ but worth every penny. Presently it is 20% off! Jerry   Posted: 12/12/2019 08:35:19

What a beautiful image. Very sharp from front to back. I like the water feature in the foreground with the pool leading to the house of worship. The clouds are a great addition. My only suggestion would be to crop out the person entering the frame on the left. I think cropping just enough to remove the person would still maintain balance in the image.   Posted: 12/15/2019 00:06:02

This photograph great advertisement for camera, app and wide angle lens. Your composition beautifully balances the building, sky, water element and landscaping. Perfect.   Posted: 12/15/2019 16:56:22

I've been hoping one of us would have that new camera so thanks for the fine demonstration. Great depth of field and detail. That half in/half out person on the left could be cloned out with the bushes directly in front of her.   Posted: 12/18/2019 09:03:05
