Autumn Color

This was a pretty autumn colot shot but a bit boring so I attempted to make it different. It is different but is it better? I started in Snapseed with a preset tone. Then into Waterlogue where the main art feeling was applied. Back to Snapseed for adjusting of Ambience, Warmth, etc.

As I think I have mentioned in the past, I'm not a fan of the Waterlogue app because I feel it removes too much detail. However, I will have to say you've done a good job with it in this image. The shot is all about the vibrant colors and that works out well.   Posted: 11/08/2019 08:45:50

The image is close to the impressionistic appearance. Try something different, why not! Good job.   Posted: 11/08/2019 16:11:23

Trying new things is always fun and sometimes you are pleasantly surprised by the result. It is an explosion of fall colors.   Posted: 11/11/2019 10:37:30

It certainly isn't boring! I like the final image enjoy your interpretation of the scene as it might have been rendered by a water-colorist. I'll want to have a look at Waterlogue. As usual, you give us something to think about and try.   Posted: 11/11/2019 15:44:41

Your use of the Waterlogue app takes a typical fall foliage scene and really makes the beauty of fall foliage pop. Excellent use of this app.   Posted: 11/15/2019 07:15:07

Yes. You can do it so why not. It really looks like a true watercolor.   Posted: 11/16/2019 08:18:03
