End of Summer by Lynne Royce

October 2019 - End of Summer

About the Image(s)

I think the man sitting on the rock, motioning to his dog, helps tells the story of this end of the summer Jersey Shore photograph I took last week. Dogs are not allowed on beaches in season and everyone is so laid back in this photo. My husband and I had just left the beach and climbed stairs to the raised boardwalk when I turned around and saw this scene and whipped out my trusty Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Just a little processing in Snapseed.

The title tells it all. The man and his dog and the parents watching their children with no visibility of a guard stationed near by. Great light and wonderful blue water.   Posted: 10/02/2019 10:34:13

This scene makes me smile. Beach fun with family and pets. Very warm and pleasant feeling overall. Nice colors, too. The wide format works well to focus on the people and activities.   Posted: 10/02/2019 11:50:55

Such a very typical beach scene. A lot going on. I think I'd crop on the right just past the blue cooler chest in order to move the woman with that large white bag now in the center over to the right.   Posted: 10/02/2019 13:37:53

Darn! End of summer indeed. Your image does say it all. Still warm, but hints of what will surely come along too soon. The image has a very nice feel.   Posted: 10/08/2019 14:06:24
