1. Yes I have using and teaching with Distressed FX+. It had more selections for both textures, birds etc. Also it allows one to put in your own textures and or clouds etc.

2. Yes, I like your image very much Dave. The editing not only gives this image your unique stylized touch and look by added colors. I also like how you used the edge of the road to increase the strength of the One Point Perspective. Good wedding photographers do the same thing when capturing the bride coming down the isle.
