About the Image(s)

I enjoy early morning bike rides, but am often distracted with photo opportunities. Here is an example with editing.

1) Snapseed - convert to square format. 2) Distress fx - Fury, Beyond Skies. 3) Return to Snapseed - minor adjustments to exposure, added a touch of saturation.

Jerry, you use Distress fx + I have not upgraded the app yet. Is there much of a difference between the two versions? Thanks!

1. Yes I have using and teaching with Distressed FX+. It had more selections for both textures, birds etc. Also it allows one to put in your own textures and or clouds etc.

2. Yes, I like your image very much Dave. The editing not only gives this image your unique stylized touch and look by added colors. I also like how you used the edge of the road to increase the strength of the One Point Perspective. Good wedding photographers do the same thing when capturing the bride coming down the isle. I like the color treatment in this image. It is surreal in some ways , but intriguing. The fact that here is nothing at the end of the road makes the image all about the tree and light works.   Posted: 09/02/2019 20:09:51

I like this image. I especially like the composition with tree in the center of the frame and the vanishing point path on the right. The large tree is the first thing one notices, and then the path is a bonus. Nice.   Posted: 09/04/2019 09:17:41

A beautiful image Dave. The editing you did just brought the whole scene to life. I love the yellow horizon as if the sun is rising and the shadows crossing the road and I wonder what is over the hill.   Posted: 09/04/2019 22:17:58

What an incredible transformation you made to photograph with apps which added dramatic color and effect to an already excellent photograph of bike path meandering between magnificent trees. Very creative.   Posted: 09/09/2019 10:55:19

Great tree in an ordinary shot made dramatic with your editing. The road is just perfectly placed.   Posted: 09/19/2019 08:00:07
