About the Image(s)

Ducks and geese wandering across a local pond on a warm summer afternoon. Crop and tune with Snapseed, converted to BW in Blackie. I like the negative space and the natural highlights that draw my eyes to the birds. A tiny border added to lift it off the web page.

I like the minimalist look to the image. Many times less is more and that floats my boat.

You could consider a tiny crop off the top of the image. The edges need to match the rest of the image. Just a suggestion.   Posted: 08/02/2019 10:56:36

Good example of negative space. The area where the water is brighter really makes the birds stand out. You accomplished what you attended to do. Good job.   Posted: 08/04/2019 20:16:08

Well done. The ripples in the negative space help add some interest to an area that might have overwhelmed the birds.   Posted: 08/10/2019 14:47:29

Very serene scene. Gently gliding Canadian Geese and ducks. Gentle ripples in water. Little bit of sunlight creating glow on water. Good capture and editing of soothing photograph.   Posted: 08/11/2019 13:41:09

Converting this image to black and white takes what might have been a scene we all would skip to a picture we probably wish was ours. Nice vision and perfect placement of the elements.   Posted: 08/11/2019 21:30:52

There are so many things to think about as a photographer. Negative space, minimalist, B&W vs color, rule of thirds ........ I need to think more about the first two. Nice capture and example of less is more.   Posted: 08/13/2019 18:09:09
