About the Image(s)

Mistaya Canyon Falls in Banff National Park. This was taken on a trip along the IcxefieldsParkway from Lake Louise to Jasper, Alberta. I did a little adjusting of it, including adding contrast.

I like the mono version best as it emphasizes the water for me. The detail and contrast you added was just right. I like the movement of the water, which has just enough detail, and the detail in the rocks and trees. The S curve and composition are very appealing. Nice job!   Posted: 11/07/2020 08:54:50

Composition excellent, tonality is good, and subject matter is interesting. For me, the image is a little soft. I am usually not a fan of long exposure waterfalls and, this one is an exception. Good work.   Posted: 11/07/2020 13:54:07

A very nice image in both colour and mono. It is well suited to portrait orientation. Our eye follows the river up through the picture with interest all the way. You have framed it perfectly and for me your shutter speed is spot on giving interest and detail in the water. I also like the texture in the rocks. Well done!   Posted: 11/08/2020 06:32:37

Well done Paul. Iliked the way you pulled out some of the detail in the rocks like in the lower left corner. This would make a great large print.   Posted: 11/09/2020 11:51:08
