About the Image(s)

One part of a local Cemetery is the old Potter’s Field. It has been here since 1904 and the last person listed on the stone was buried in 1980.
Created with a Fujifilm XE3 and a 50mm lens. ISO 2500, f/13 at 1/1600. Converted to Monochrome in Luminar 4.

I think BW works well for this image - all those strong hues in the colour version are distracting. However even the monochrome is too busy to allow our eye to settle and to decide what the main subject is. The Potter's Field slab has nice detail and the tree shadow adds interest - I would suggest trying to crop so that this fills most of the frame. Here is one suggestion...   Posted: 10/20/2020 22:09:04

Thanks for your comment. Much better for a pictorial photograph.   Posted: 10/21/2020 07:55:51
