About the Image(s)

Made this image originally in color for the PSA 365 Gallery. Then, for submission to this Digital Dialog Group I thought it might fit as a monochrome. What do you think? Converted to Black and White in Luminar 4 and finished in Photoshop Elements. Original shot with a Fujifilm XPro2, 23mm lens, ISO 3200, 1/160. f/4, available light.

I prefer the colour version because the different colours of the various fruit make them stand out. If you want to go with the mono I would clone out the burnt out areas on the grapes, add a little more contrast and some texture to the bananas.   Posted: 09/07/2020 07:54:08

I agree with David's changes. I like both the color and mono versions, but I wonder why you have the minion in there. I think you would have a nicer still life without it. Once the highlights are toned down, you have a nice tonal range.   Posted: 09/07/2020 12:32:58

Thanks for comments. I just added Spencer, or whatever his name is, just for fun. I do agree with comments. Also, I like the color version best and will make a print someday.
