I love the way you stopped the action with so much clarity and focus in the subjects. I like the way the two motorcycles and rides mimic each other's position. The contrast is perfect. My only suggestion is to crop just below the words on the top. They are a bit of a distraction for me.   Posted: 07/06/2020 11:55:19

Another good motorcycle shot. I prefer the mono version as it isolates the riders better than the colour version. I agree with Cindy that the writing at the back is a distraction but I would use the burn tool or similar to darken it rather than cropping. I would also darken the track at the top of the riders helmets. I am impressed at how sharp the riders and bikes are and you have got the bikers at the perfect time with the one on the left's front wheel off the track.   Posted: 07/10/2020 17:38:49

Action and perfection in timing your image with both bikes front wheels off the ground. Tells a story of two guys racing intensity. The white ground that runs horizontally would be better cloned out. Well done.   Posted: 07/12/2020 16:13:36

Yes, great capture as both bikes lift their front wheels and come zooming toward us. In my view the monochrome allows us to focus more on the riders, rather than the grass and the coloured letters in the background. I am not as distracted by the lettering as I am by whatever is in the top left-hand corner - to me, the signage adds to the story in this image.   Posted: 07/18/2020 21:59:18

Great action. I think you have enough action to worry about our usual goal of three bikes coming out of the corner. Now the question of cropping (1/3 behind and 2/3's in front) versus more of a close-up and what you want to do with the white strip of the sand trap, the safety station equip and crash wall signage, any or several or all of them.
Great crisp shot.   Posted: 07/20/2020 14:57:55

I agree with Lorna. I does allow me to concentrate on the action and the riders well.   Posted: 07/24/2020 16:20:17
