About the Image(s)

Basically, I changed the picture from color to mono and darkened a bit and added a bit more contrast

I really like the monochrome version of this, especially with your heightened contrast. I think the symmetrical composition also works well, with leading lines from all directions converging in the center. The only thing I might do differently (if this were my image) is lighten and/or smooth out the sky - I find the texture of the clouds detracts a bit from the strong fine art nature of the image.   Posted: 06/10/2020 15:51:23

Actually, I adjusted the contrast to bring out the clouds a bit more to show the weather that day. I liked the result. Interesting that you considered them a distracting. As I look at it with that in mind, I guess they do distract somewhat.   Posted: 06/14/2020 21:22:22

This is a wonderful architectural shot which is almost an abstract. The geometric lines and shapes are great as are the leading lines. Nice job.   Posted: 06/14/2020 20:50:14

This is a very interesting architectural shot, great balance, and good leading lines. I don't mind the clouds, I think they help over a bald sky.   Posted: 06/14/2020 21:46:44
