Lonely Boat by Graham Fisher

February 2021 - Lonely Boat

About the Image(s)

This image was taken in 2013 at Aldeburgh beach in Suffolk, England. This lonely boat stowed on the beach interested me. More so after checking images of that beach on the internet I found the same boat viewed from different angles. I thought it was temporary storage but apparently not.

I like composition of this photo. I am a fan of blue skies and fluffy white clouds, but this sky adds to the mood of the photo. I do want to ask ... the color seems off, like the white balance should be adjusted. Or is this what you were going for?   Posted: 02/18/2021 13:59:28

The composition, colors, focus, and exposure all give this a "moody" feeling. I also wonder why the boat is there and how it got there. Very nice.   Posted: 02/22/2021 19:56:28

I like the colors and mood of this image. It definitely does convey the lonely feeling you refer to in your title. Nice job creating a picture of an inanimate object that tells a story.   Posted: 02/28/2021 10:05:41

Love the image... it is fantasy-like with a muted background propping up an ailing vessel .... stunning   Posted: 02/28/2021 11:28:17
