November 2020 - Bridge Over Mississippi

About the Image(s)

This is a shot of Ead's bridge in St. Louis. taken in August 2017 I submit it for comment for two reasons. Of all the images on the internet I couldn't find any that showed this interesting construction ... almost like it's made from a constructor set. This shot is not possible except from a boat probably why it's unique or at least rare.

Nikon 7100, Nikor 50mm f1,4 prime lens ,1/250th f8. Cropped an converted to B&W in Lightroom.

I love to see the undersides of bridges and other architecture. Great shot. Lots of triangles for strength.   Posted: 11/16/2020 18:06:21

Very sharp throughout. I find the converging lines interesting.   Posted: 11/20/2020 14:33:47

i am drawn to the symmetry underneath bridges and your image certainly expresses this symmetry. The lines drawn me into the image. I do find that it is not quite centered at the top and just tilted a little with left side down a little more than the right. Overall very cool image.   Posted: 11/29/2020 07:13:02
