About the Image(s)

This photo was taken three years ago in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan, after climbing over the forest before sunset to enjoy the golden hour over the city.

I shoot this photo using canon 6D, 17-40 Lens, with a focal length of 17mm, and F/16 aperture, for 15 seconds exposure time, using tripod and remote control.

This is a charming golden hour shot of Taipei.
I lived there with my wife and three children in 1988-89, long before the Taipei 101 tower was built.
Can you recall from what compass direction you shot this?
Here are some facts from the internet about the tower:
Taipei 101 comprises 101 floors above ground, as well as 5 basement levels. It was not only the first building in the world to break the half-kilometer mark in height, but also the world's tallest building from 31 March 2004 to 10 March 2010.   Posted: 09/15/2020 01:42:49

Hello Stephen,
Thank you for your comment, Taiwan is one of the best countries I have seen in Eastern Asia, I remember that I shot this picture after little hike in Xiangshan Trail on Elephant Mountain è山, just write Elephant Mountain in google maps it will point to the exact place, there are several points where you can have a good view, remeber to go early to find good place before sunset, and before the crwouded too.   Posted: 09/18/2020 11:26:53
