Mother Nature stopped the snow and gave use a beautiful clear day so I went to downtown Boise to try my new Fisheye lens on some street photography.

Hey Paul, first and foremost I'm glad you decided to stay with the group. To the image. Perspective control is very difficult with a fisheye lens. Convergence is many times the issue. Tried to skew the image quite frankly I like yours better! Just a little to much sky in yours. Posted: 03/02/2023 09:31:58
I'm happy I decided to stay. In this part of the country we have a lots of sky. This was my first outing with the Fisheye so it was kind on the job training. I was pushing the limits when I could. Posted: 03/02/2023 12:09:47
Paul, I will say that I agree with Tom's comments. But, I love the starburst you captured and its reflection on the building. I also love the very deep blue sky against the building. Posted: 03/02/2023 12:46:50

I really like the concept of the image. There's a lot of appeal in the distortion a fisheye introduces. The color is excellent as is the starburst from the lights. I agree that there's a little too much sky. Maybe crop to a square??? Just a thought!. Posted: 03/02/2023 13:48:23

Love the fisheye effect. I had one with an older camera and keep talking about replacing it. The coloring is excellent, the starburst is outstanding. Overall a beautiful eye catching image Posted: 03/05/2023 14:23:30
