About the Image(s)

I took in in Washington, DC. It is the Indian Museum. I loved the lines of it. It was taken on my Canon Rebel T6i camera. I used f6.5, 1/100 sec., ISO 100 and 18mm. When processing, I cropped it much tighter to show the curves and texture up close. I got ride of a few distractions in the top right and left. I lightened up the photo and saturated the blue in the windows. I liked the way the color of the brick and other materials jumped out when I lightened it. I have recently used it in my own camera club in our "Architectural" competition.

This is great! I agree with you about how the curves attract the eye. The colors are just right. This is a winner. I would like to see it as a large print.   Posted: 04/04/2021 12:42:16

I love the curves! It makes me want to go visit that museum which I've never done even though I live right outside DC. I like the bright blue too and what you did to the bricks - much better than in the original.   Posted: 04/04/2021 14:21:11

Jamie, you have a great eye for interesting shots. Your choice of angle when you took this shot made it really interesting. I agree with everyone else that your post processing made it even better. I love the combination of lines, textures and colors. Hope you win your club competition.   Posted: 04/05/2021 09:49:55
