April 2021 - ORANGE BEAUTY

About the Image(s)

This is one of these Covid images that I resurrected from the dead. I have no idea how long ago the original was taken but I've been playing with using textures and came up with this result which I kind of like. Anxious for your thoughts.

My guess is that it was shot with my Canon T2I and Tamron 16-300 lens but anything more than that would be pure conjecture.

Thanks. Due to the limitations of Covid I've spent the last year re-creating old images but am rapidly running out of ideas.   Posted: 04/02/2021 20:20:41

Well done! I like the contrast between the crisp detail one the Aloe and the blurred background.   Posted: 04/04/2021 12:34:21

It's very bright and cheerful which is what is needed during a pandemic.   Posted: 04/04/2021 14:15:48

You have been far more creative during COVID than I was. I love the colors and the way they fade softly into the background color. Beautiful!   Posted: 04/04/2021 20:33:51

I put this into a club competition for tomorrow night. Hope the judge likes it as much as you all do.   Posted: 04/05/2021 04:40:43

Our camera club had a mentor image this week and I got a couple of suggestions on this one so I'm asking for a few other comments before submitting for judging. Which do you prefer?   Posted: 04/17/2021 19:31:55
