About the Image(s)
I took this photo on a trip to Florida. It was taken at the Morikami Museum in Delray Beach. I took it with a Nikon D850. I don’t have the other settings because I can’t locate the original. We happened to be there in the early afternoon on a very sunny day, which is usually difficult light. But I noticed that the bright sunshine was creating a beautiful reflection on the lake.

So pretty. I live very close to Morikami and used to go there quite often. It has really grown since I visited with my mother some 35 years ago. This is a very nice shot and very well done. Love the sky reflection.   Posted: 01/16/2021 12:37:35

My first response was a literal, "Ooooooh!" :). I LOVE the symmetry of the composition, and the reflection of the trees and sky on the surface of the water. This color combination is wonderfully serene yet bright/cheerful. I love photos like this. Beautiful shot!   Posted: 01/19/2021 14:26:44

I too love this shot. Did you order the clouds or just wait until they appeared (or are they often like that)? The only thing anyone might criticize is that brown spot on the left side but it took me quite a long time to find it and I don't find it distracting.   Posted: 01/19/2021 14:55:37
Margaret, this shot was just pure luck. We were walking along the paths in the gardens and I looked up and saw it, and realized that it might be a good shot. I did crop the left side a bit because there was some distracting greenery in the foreground. I didn't notice the brown spot. Thanks for pointing it out.

This is a lovely scene and the symmetry works. I like to cool tone and the quiet feel. Well done.   Posted: 01/19/2021 16:45:12

So peaceful and restful. Love all the vivid colors and the reflections. It would be so easy to remove that tiny brown intrusion. You did a super job of seeing what it would look like then duplicating your expectations!!   Posted: 01/20/2021 12:33:33
