About the Image(s)

I took this picture about 25 years ago on film. My husband recently figured out how to scan the negatives, and I've been having fun converting them to reasonable digital images so that I could include them in a memoir for my children.
The process is not difficult, just very time consuming. I will post on the bulletin board.

Great image. Tells a fun story! Almost got them all in. Now, how to pick up the bag!   Posted: 10/01/2020 16:18:50

Thanks. Great memory for me. This is my 27 year old granddaughter.   Posted: 10/01/2020 19:15:46

What an adorable memory! You did really well making it crisp and getting the colors natural. I do books of photographs every Christmas for our four children and they think is the highlight of their Christmas!   Posted: 10/05/2020 16:29:13

I just started a family history and am up to about 50 pages facts, memories and pictures. Hope I live long enough to finish it and can then afford to print it. But it's truly a labor of love.

I love this photo, especially her expression. I'm glad to hear others are going back to old photos and I'm hoping our kids enjoy them.   Posted: 10/05/2020 18:32:40

Such determination! The colors are just the right contrast. It seems a little too contrasty and sharp. A little softer approach might tell the story better. Fabulous capture!   Posted: 10/06/2020 11:04:22

This is a cute photo. I find that it is always challenging to edit film photos that didn't start out as digital files. You edited the image so that the skin tone and hair color are both bright and natural. Great job!   Posted: 10/16/2020 13:03:49
