I like the image, but I feel there's a bit too much dead space in the foreground so in my feedback, I cropped a bit off the foreground and to add a bit of punch, I went into Topaz Studio 2 and used the Travel to Tortuga look to kick it up. What do you think.   Posted: 08/02/2020 15:31:09

Lovely photo. I liked Bev's crop very much. Her enhancements also made the sunbeams pop too!   Posted: 08/08/2020 09:32:28

I love the house and that whole part of the image. I agree with Bev's crop of some of the bottom of the iamge. I might have tried to open up the shadows in the trees and the left part with trees. I might have tried to play around with the color of the sky but if that is what you saw, then don't change it.   Posted: 08/09/2020 20:30:51

I respectfully disagree with the crop, because--and this is highly personal admittedly--I feel that nature is very large and needs a lot of space in images of it. Directly as a result, the human element should be fairly small in natural images. Like I said, this is a personal view, influenced by my study of far eastern styles of painting. Just another view.   Posted: 08/11/2020 16:11:28

Jean, I like the warmth of the image. It bugs me a bit not to see the top of the pine tree. I think the topaz kick up works on the house, but takes away from the soft feel of the image. Nicely done.   Posted: 08/11/2020 17:45:25
