About the Image(s)

Horses & Carriage in Williamsburg - taken last fall with Nikon 5300 camera, Tamron lens 18-400 at 22mm; ISO 800; f/18 at 1/80 sec.
Processed in LR in this order: enabled profile correction and used auto transform; highlights -100; shadows +40; whites +6; blacks -12; clarity +45; dehaze +10; vibrance +21; texture +17; cropped; went to Edit in Photoshop and tried to lighten the right horse head a little but decided not to use it; size 1200x760 with resolution 360; in filter did sharpen edges and saved at 11 to make it under 1mm
Is the final version better than the original?

Your slight crop is perfect. The adjustments you made added to the perfection of this image. I can offer no suggestions for improvement. Love the fact that you captured the two people in front of the house watching the carriage go by/   Posted: 06/09/2020 05:44:37

I think the touched-up image is really crisp. The carriage going down the street really draws the eye. I also noticed that blue shows up as a nice accent color throughout (the sky, the cushions, the driver's vest, the seated person's top - the person sitting on the bench next to the stone steps specifically). Great job!   Posted: 06/19/2020 15:37:10
