About the Image(s)

This was a photo taken while wandering the Streets of Barcelona, Spain. I simply liked the street scene with the filigreed bridge crossing the alley way and the people on the street to give the image an economy of scale. It spoke to me of everyday life in another city in the world, also to continue to expand my photographic horizons.

I chose this look stepping outside of the box as a trial and also to see what everyone would think of it – essentially taking the saturation to 0 (B&W) then converting to a negative in On1 Photo Raw 2021. I like the ghostly feel of the image. I have had some trouble with Photoshop on my iMac and so I am seeking to learn On1. It will take some getting used to, but overall I think I will like the program.
