Hello, Albert! A wonderful Seascape composition that will entice all viewers to want to go visit this special place.

However, my only concern is the seemingly lack in overall focus, which may be due to the very low resolution of your image file (about 350kb). In this case, it may be interfering how we view the work onscreen.

On the other hand, perhaps if this was hand held at F/11 or F/16 the shutter speed may have blurred the scene, unless you were using a tripod with hands-off triggering.   Posted: 11/18/2020 09:39:07

Albert, I like the panoramic aspect that you chose as it works well for this scene. Some of the rocks are quite dark and as they make up the foreground it results in a lot of the image with little detail. Maybe the shadows can be lightened more in post processing. Thanks for sharing.   Posted: 11/21/2020 12:24:28

Albert I really liked this image as it was submitted. It is a really (to my eye) good seascape and the IR presentation was effective in making it a scene to study and absorb. I agree with Lance, I really would like to go there after seeing this.

As I studied the image I was struck by the very dark foreground in the lower right corner, which as I saw it, took away from the impact of the image. I took it into PS and cropped it a little, then opened up the shadows to bring out a little more detail in that lower right corner. I would be interested in your thoughts about how what I did worked for your eye.   Posted: 11/21/2020 18:21:17

I really enjoy the peaceful and timeless quality of your image.
The infra red treatment is done with a gentle hand and not over the top, as it seems to me are many Ir photographs. Thanks for a beautiful image.   Posted: 11/23/2020 18:17:21

Albert, your image encouraged me to see where Prospect Harbor is: I haven't yet been to that area, but is very much on our list.

I like your IR treatment, but will agree with others that as presented it is too dark and that takes away my enjoyment of it. Ed's adjusted version does improve it, whilst still maintaining the drama you were after. Thank you for posting.   Posted: 11/29/2020 13:02:43
