While on Safari in October 2011, we stopped to have some wine next the Okavango river. While enjoying the wine we noticed several herds of elephants coming to the river for water. I watched one herd of elephants settle on this location and watched them chase another herd away from their watering hole.
The sun was beginning to set, the sun rays coming through the clouds and the elephants silhouetted against the river made an African safari even better.
I processed in Photoshop, with a little enhancement and correction of the colors of the cliffs.
