Ron, this is a great shot of the falls. I really like the way you directed the viewer's eye to the falls. Only issue, small one, is perhaps you could have brought out more detail in the trees on the left front side as I see a dark void in the corner. Nice work bringing out the clouds, but I'm not sure about the color, maybe too much red.

Great shot, shows the value of having a room facing the Falls. I should convince my wife to go there for a night or 2, just to get away from home(we're less than an hour away). I agree with Richard, there should be more detail in the foreground trees (maybe because it was so early in the morning when you shot this). Also, I was wondering about the detail in the sky, was it raining? There seems to be a bit of noise, which might have come from the processing or from the early hour that you shot this image at.   Posted: 01/08/2021 10:22:02

The hotel was the Oakes. I burned down those foreground trees as a distraction, because of their size in the image. The air in the area is full of moisture. Low lying clouds, scattered showers are common. The light at that time of day was bright and very angular, and lit up the view across the river... OK, I like red a bit too much (grin).   Posted: 01/10/2021 18:45:15
