St Aloysius Church, was shot earlier this month. This church has three levels of seating and two alters, four set of private alcoves on two levels. The original church sat 768 people the expanded triple tired design seats 2100. This was a light balancing nightmare, The view here, is from the lowest level looking up through the well (it's called). Nikon D 750 ISO 200, , f8 @ 3 sec (+/- )5 , Nikon 10.5 (13.6) mm lens was used to show as much of the three levels and ceiling as possible. processed in Photomatix 6.03 some straightening and minor adjustments in Affinty photo.

Ron, another great shot of the church. I liked the way you brought out the blue tiles in the ceiling, however you need to when you did that you added more blue arch. You need to add a layer and remove the blue in the area of the paintings on the wall to the original # 2 .   Posted: 10/18/2020 18:53:21

Ron, I disagree with Richard in that I like the blue treatment of the upstairs area in the middle of the image. The HDR treatment really brought out the colors, and created a contrast of complimentary colors between the upstairs area and the rest of the church scene. I suggest you lighten the surrounding areas just a little to help bring out the detail in these areas, but not so much as to detract from the central areas of the image.   Posted: 10/22/2020 10:02:27
