About the Image(s)

On the rusty old wrecks workshop last fall, I encountered this school bus whose seats were removed and the shell of the bus left to the elements for many years. So, using my wide angle zoom lens at 10 mm on my Canon 7D Mark II, I shot my usual 2 stops bracket to allow the outside tree branches to show and pick up the details of the deeply shaded parts of the interior. After some basic adjustments in Lightroom, I took the images into Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 and selected a grunge preset from a bundle offered a few years ago by Jason Odell. This really brought out all the old details, nd worked better than Aurora in doing so. I might add that I haven't had any issues in working with the original version of the Nik software and have had no need to re-purchase this software from DxO.

Don, very nice! I like the way you were able to bring out the details of the "OLD" school bus. Really liked the way the rust is brought out in the picture.   Posted: 10/10/2019 13:49:35
