About the Image(s)

Pentax K-30; all ISO 200, f/11. Speeds 1/1600, 1/64, 1/250. Using Photomatix, I combined the three but used only the middle shot for the speed in order to remove the ghosts. I also added a bit of saturation, cropped it, and sharpened it.

Paul, very nice shot of the falls. I especially like the way you captured the movement of the water and the mist. Nice going!   Posted: 10/10/2019 13:46:15

A great view of the falls. Living less than an hour from Niagara Falls, I sometimes think of its images as being chiches, but you've managed a different viewpoint by going down to near water level. Were you at the dock for the tour boat on the Canadian side?(formerly Maid of the Mist, I'm not sure what that boat's now called).   Posted: 10/28/2019 10:12:32

I was on the boat headed to the American Falls (or the Canadian Falls - I can't remember........)   Posted: 10/28/2019 10:24:10

This is the American Falls, it looks like you're on or near the Canadian shore. At any rate, a great shot considering you're shooting from a moving boat. Your camera must have high speed auto bracketing to get this properly.   Posted: 10/28/2019 10:40:03
