About the Image(s)

Peacefull was a bench in a park here in Tulsa Ok. I liked the lines and the fall colors that just made a nice place to rest and take this shot.
Equipment:
Camera: Nikon D7100
Lens AF-S Nikkor 18-140

Three Bracketed shots
Bench 1 shot at 1/3200 of a sec. at F/5.6 35 mm with ISO at 1000
Bench 2 was shot at 1/2000 of a sec. at F/22 35mm with ISO at 1000
Bench 3 was shot at 1/1600 of a sec. at F/5.6 35 mm with ISO at 1000
All three were processed in Easy HDR and the then back to Lightroom for a small amount of post processing into Bench HDR.

Ray, I love the image. Great color and maybe what I like most is that it works well without strictly following the 1/3rds rule.

I did find the shadow on the arm of the bench distracting so I cloned it out. See if you think it helps.

Good job!   Posted: 06/03/2018 16:06:27

Almost without thinking about it, any time I find a bench in a natural setting, automatically I think about taking a shot showing the bench and some part of the surroundings. I find myself moving from place to place, trying to find the best angle to present from. Sometimes I'm happy with my final and sometimes not. This is a good shot, showing the time of day and the time of year. The shadow on the arm was not noticeable to me, and removing it could make that part of the image seem more important. Nice dof.   Posted: 06/11/2018 03:04:13

Your HDR treatment really brings out the texture in the wood of the bench. Great color. I'm OK with the shadow.   Posted: 06/19/2018 13:53:29

Ray, I enjoy this photo, very peaceful. Unlike Gary, I liked the shadow on the arm. It was the first place my eye went to, and then I liked the rest, Sorry Gary! I also, liked the detail and the colors of the plants. Well done.

Great detail, good background, interesting shot. I don't mind the shadow, did not notice it when I first looked at the image. I like the texture in the wood. Cannot suggest any changes. Nice shot.   Posted: 06/30/2018 09:34:36

Thank you everyone for looking at my shot I am so lucky to have this form to put my photos up and get some comments and help. You all bring up such good points like the shadow, I would not have come up with that, as many times as I have looked at it but it does work. Thanks for all the good feed back.
