About the Image(s)

The photo was taken in Summer 2020 at Glacier National Park. The camera used was Nikon D810,
Lens was 240-70 mm. Processed in Lightroom, raised the shadows and lowered the highlights. Increased the contrast and clarity and vibrance.

The Sun was setting and there was beautiful color in the sky. The scene was so tranquil. I hoped to convey the color and tranquility.

A beautiful landscape image with excellent post processing to bring out the colors. The full rock in the foreground adds interest, however, I would suggest cloning out the partial rock on the edge. You also might try brightening the mountain peak in the center-right to bring more attention to it.   Posted: 01/01/2021 18:30:55

You certainly did a good job in post processing--so much lighter! Were there more nice clouds this side of the mountains? I was wondering if the horizon could be lowered bring them into the picture. I realize you would lose the rocks and what they add to a felling of depth, but more pink clouds, for me, would be a good trade-off.   Posted: 01/02/2021 09:04:50

Such a lovely, peaceful scene with nice color. My only suggestion is to bring out just a little more detail in the background mountains if you can. The highlight for me is the background mountain just to the right of center with the gorgeous morning light. Well done!   Posted: 01/07/2021 09:59:50

a calm landscape, post proc did well, bring out color and attraction.
However, the rock at the edge bother me a bit, clone it out would be better.   Posted: 01/13/2021 04:15:32

I wonder if I have stood and photographed on thus very same spot! The sky colors bother me, the colors look wrong to my eye. Might the color tint have been produced by LR itself? Just doesn't look natural to me. I do like the rocks in the foreground that give a sense of depth to the image.   Posted: 01/17/2021 21:39:05

A very beautiful landscape image. The lightening in the sky specially in the left side is too bright to me. And I also agree that the detail and contrast of the mountain in the left side could be locally enhanced.   Posted: 01/27/2021 02:47:31
