What a great shot! I've never seen a great blue heron eating a snake before. Perfect focus on the heron's eye with the background slightly out of focus bringing attention to the bird and snake. If this were my image, I would tone down the highlights in the background grasses to make the bird and snake more prominent.   Posted: 08/02/2020 06:20:10

This a terrific wildlife image! You captured the heron perfectly. His eye and beak are so sharp and his feathers are clear. The snake in his beak is good too, however I would suggest you lighten the face of the snake, just around the eyes. It's a little dark there. Awesome capture!   Posted: 08/02/2020 12:42:38
