About the Image(s)

This was photographed this weekend in Nashville TN on Broadway. This is a 4 shot HDR from 1/100, f8, ISO 6400 at 24mm. Processed entirely in Aurora 2019. Basic raw improvements for shadows, highlights, contrast, HDR enhance and structure. Wasn't sure if I wanted to crop the people or not..

I love all of the colors and neon!!

Definitely a different entry for you this month. 6400 ISO, 4 exposures, so you were on a tripod? or 1/1100 was the slowest of the four?

The tonemapping did a great job with the people, as they would have moved during the four exposures.

I would either like to see more or the people or less, the floating heads are kinda zombie apocolyps-ish, LOL

The right round candy kitchen sign, wish that there had been just a tad more there.   Posted: 03/14/2020 15:38:37

The bracket is from 1/100 to 1/13 handheld. I agree on the kitchen sign.   Posted: 03/15/2020 11:38:09

Great blend using just Aurora and at that iso. I see what Lisa is getting at on the people, but don't find them just being on the edge that bothersome personally. The fact that they are there seems to put the buildings in context for me.   Posted: 03/14/2020 18:28:44

Sharp with good exposure. Would have cut out too much of image if an attempt to square up was attempted. Thus good as it is.   Posted: 03/22/2020 14:58:37

I must be thinking vertically today. I saw the composition of the Valentine sign and the Kitchen sign in a balanced composition. I would not mind seeing the people and the sidewalk to complete the story. Your process has worked well.   Posted: 03/23/2020 14:00:25
