About the Image(s)

This photo was taken in July 2017 during my visit to Vernazza, Cinque Terre, Italy. The photo was captured using my Nikon D3200, 18-55 AF lens, ISO: 100, S: 1/250, F: 7.1, focal length: 19 mm and auto white balance. I made 3 brackets with +2, 0, -2 exposures which were merged together using Aurora HDR 2019 to produce my HDR photo.

Nice shot. The only suggestion would to be next time add more shots of underexposure to bring out the sky detail. I think there was more information in the clouds to extract.   Posted: 10/08/2019 23:36:23

The overall composition is quite nice as is the scene itself. The color palette is a little to the obvious HDR side (saturation and tones), but I think it works well for the subject. I would agree with Bob that getting more in the sky would be very beneficial. How did your minus 2 exposure look on its own? is there a possibility of processing it separately just for the sky and then blending it back in for the sky area in the final?   Posted: 10/09/2019 09:54:13
