About the Image(s)
I used Topaz Glow filters to change an image. Pentax K 5, Pentax 80-320 mm telephoto. F 8, 6 seconds. ISO 200. This is actually a moon picture.
I call it “Birth of a Sun”

Wow, Mark. You really nailed it with this image. I have almost no experience in the post production skills you're exhibiting here, but I know enough to admire the knowledge and skill it took to make this. I can't even begin to look for anything I'd change in this image. The only thought I have is that I bet this would really pop if you printed it on acrylic or a high gloss metal application. Great work!

This has IMPACT Mark, and lots of it! I like how you composed the image with the "flames" swooping up to the glowing orb. The contrast of colors is striking creating a great effect. I also feel the little crackle of string fiber like glow on the subject is the finishing touch keeping the viewer looking at your image--it creates tension which is just what you want in an image of this type. I like this a lot.   Posted: 03/14/2023 18:32:11
Whoa! You exploded with this one. Certainly has impact and creates tension, which makes for an in interesting image. You could use a denoise on this. However, you can get away with the noise on this because it works with the composition and subject. It would be interesting to see it printed on a pearl metallic with and without the noise.   Posted: 03/15/2023 00:01:05
Great image. Are you sure it is not a comet about do decimate the earth and bring back prehistoric like times. This does spark 🎇 the imagination, so to speak. The composition also puts the object and the lightning like bolts into your face, almost 3D. I like you abstraction.   Posted: 03/17/2023 15:19:25
