About the Image(s)

This was made early morning, it was very misty. Canon 5D MK IV, ISO 200, f/16/ 30 sec. The sun did peak through and there were glorious shades of pink. I converted it to B&W in Silver Efex after Basic RAW edits in Adobe Lightroom. I chose the B&W because I liked the way it detailed all the graphics aspects of the image.

Very nice image. I cropped a little and I darkened the water on the right. It looks a little blown out. and I darkened the sky to the right. Great Image.   Posted: 02/04/2021 22:07:37

I really like panoramic style photos and the black and white in this really makes it stand out. I would crop the bottom out a bit more to really nail the focus on the pier and maybe have the sky a bit more focused.   Posted: 02/10/2021 10:58:32

I also like this picture with it's serene feeling and and the expanding pier but it seems to lend itself to different renditions. I also, without realizing that Alex mentioned it, sharpened it and liked the pier even more. With nik silver effects thought I could bring out some of the tonal differences in the foreground ripples. I preferred croppin out more of the top with the tonal changes that confused me. I like the photo, composition except for some minimal reframing and like that it is a pretty serene image with whichever rendition you choose. and amazing structure.   Posted: 02/11/2021 16:36:48

I like this! I like the image size! The left is almost high key! The "ripples" are just splendid! They lead into the bright on left; yet the is just a trace of them on the far far left. This is complemented by the pattern in the sky! Wonderful!   Posted: 02/24/2021 16:11:00
