About the Image(s)

Taken in the good old days, June 14, 2019. I went on a Photography Tour with a Husband and Wife Team out of the Carolinas. The tour was in Banff and Jasper.
I used my wide angle lens most of the trip. We also used polarizing and neutral density filter a good bit. We got up very early in the morning and took the sunrise and came back to the hotel ate breakfast
and slept for a while and stay out very late in the evening. It is does not get dark until very late. It made for a very long days.
I used my Nikon D500, Tokina ATX Pro DX 11 mm - 16 mm Lens, 14 mm, F13, 03 Sec, ISO 100.

Very nice landscape shot Linda with a very interesting subject. I feel your shot is very crisp and clear giving me the feeling I am there. I like the many colors you have brought out, especially the subtle blues in the water. I also like how you have caught the mountain reflection in the water near the bottom of the image. My only suggestion would be to consider cropping out about half of the grass along the bottom of the image. You will still have a foreground element, but I think the reflection will show more prominently. If you put a postage stamp on the back of this it would be a Post Card--nice shot.   Posted: 11/03/2020 18:16:52

An excellent landscape. No doubt at all what is the subject! The reflection is great. I agree with Bruce about cropping a little off the bottom.   Posted: 11/05/2020 17:20:57

Linda, I think it is a beautiful shot also. In looking at the crop that Bruce and Mark suggested I would agree. I do wonder how it would look if the detail on the dark areas of the mountain could be enhanced. If it is a RAW image it may be worth a look. It does look wonderful as it is though.   Posted: 11/10/2020 14:17:20

I really like this shot. The colors throughout the image really pull you in. I do agree with the others in terms of the foreground grass being cropped out and maybe even some of the straggler pieces of grass within the reflection "healed" to get them out of there.   Posted: 11/13/2020 08:02:37
