About the Image(s)

I will start with original, then the yellow final I am asking about. I also threw in one step further with Anthropics creative editor if there is a space. kind of a Red abstract but the yellow is the main one.

I took 3 red rose photos and combined them by photostacking with Helicon remote then Helicon 7. I sharpened the final image with Focus Magic. I cropped it and Changed Temperature and tint in Lightroom. I finished to make the yellow one with Anthropics smart editor. I also put that image through the editor and got a lot of other results.

Shot inside with window lighting with my Canon 6D, ISO100,Focal length 105 and f/14. Even though the camera focus was controlled by Helicon on my laptop, I believe the three shots were at 1/10 sec.

The red is the original stacked rose. Yellow was adjusted and may show one more done with Smart Editor.

Well Harley, both of the roses are beautiful. I do like what you have done though. The detail on the final is just wonderful. Of course I especially like the water droplets, but the petal edges toward the center are tack sharp and full of detail. You have chosen an interesting crop and my only comment is that I would like to see more rose. But sometimes it is best to keep them wanting more. Nice work.   Posted: 10/06/2020 17:18:05

Thank you Bruce. I framed it this way to give a wave effect from upper left to bottom right. It also seemed like the water droplets moved in that direction. Including more of the flower did not add more symmetry for me. Just my perspective.

I can see how the wave shows in your crop. I missed it on the first pass. Like I said, sometimes less is more and you would lose that effect with a wider crop.   Posted: 10/08/2020 16:32:51

Thanks for listening. I tried different colors and framing and this appealed to me. I had no idea at first where to crop to. I think you are doing a good job as maestro of the group, or organizer .

Thanks Again for stepping up   Posted: 10/08/2020 17:04:51

The ripples are interesting, makes a fun abstract. Being a stickler for detail, I see a few messy areas that I would like to see cleaned up. (The top left third row of ripples it looks like you did some work on removing the spots and they are still there. Also ,
the right lower side there is something, a line I would remove. ( As I scrolled over and down, I thinking maybe you don't need the bottom part with the most drops of water.Because your eye goes to the brightest part and that is in this photo.) The right side is sharp, however the upper right is soft and that bothers me.   Posted: 10/19/2020 11:41:58
