I like your caption of this photo it fits right in with the three friends playing in the water. I like the fact that you chose a fast shutter to freeze the water which I feel adds dimension to your shot. I also like the contrasting colors and your crop showing the edge of the rock which gives a sense of place in my opinion. I do feel the background is a bit bright you might conciser darkening it a somewhat to help focus all attention on the boys. You might also want to clone out the green leaves in the very front of the rocks at the bottom of the shot.   Posted: 09/06/2020 14:19:57

I agree with Bruce on the foreground and the background. I love the photojournalistic image. Love the colors and texture. I wish I could see their eyes. I would add a little room to the top of the image and crop a little from the bottom. Over all this is a very beautiful image Maitham.   Posted: 09/10/2020 09:12:08

I agree with both Bruce and Linda but I do not seem drawn away from these playful kids by the background. Darkening the background may help, I am not sure. The kids and stop action of the water in what almost appears a coordinated effort to splash all at once seems to draw you in a lot, background only a being a backdrop. Actually, I am not sure I like the title for these boys just being boys. My impression of the three stooges, brings a more slapstick feeling. How you captured their intense focus and fun is great.   Posted: 09/12/2020 10:42:22

thanks for your review. well regarding the title, from that day I remembered the There Stooges Cartoon and remembered some of their funny moments so I named under them. thanks for your noted   Posted: 09/29/2020 16:20:40

I was quite taken with this image! Are we seeing partially underwater in the foreground? This is a real "moment in time" photo! You stopped the water in mid air! Yes, this image would benefit from a darker background. Especially since the two boys toward the left have white hats on. I would crop off a bit more of the left side so as to add a composition element. Maybe even add a bit on the right. This photo sure tells a story! Maybe rethink the title.   Posted: 09/24/2020 11:56:58

thanks Mark for your notes and review... I wouldl try to make the background darker in order to make the eye drawn directly to it.
we'll I cannot retitle the photo as I already started participating in contest and trying to seek your all review to understand why its not winning till now. will try to rethink more before titling. thanks again   Posted: 09/29/2020 16:23:47
