I really like your background it is a very impressionistic look and the colorful flowers are quite beautiful. I like how you have positioned the red Zinnia and butterfly in sharp focus right up front against that soft background. It makes them the center of attention and obviously the main subject. I think I would like to see more of the colors of the butterfly though. While it presents a nice look I think if you had caught a bit more of the profile the story would be even better.   Posted: 09/06/2020 15:32:14

Yes, a profile would have certainly been lovely. Though as presented a lovely work of art. I have not ever indulged in the Painterly look. I would love to learn though.   Posted: 09/18/2020 16:23:25

Nice touch, the background and location of the key flower and of course butterfly. The butterfly looks ready to move on with this angle, contemplating where to move next into the field of almost painted flowers. My eyes move back and forth from the butterfly to the other flowers almost wondering where to go next. Very interesting format. Not sure if the upper part of the left wing could be lightened, but I suspect that that would bring out noise. Rather than color, I like that the photo brings out its delicate parts of the body.Very pretty and enjoyable photo.   Posted: 09/12/2020 11:31:18
