About the Image(s)

I cannot remember being stared at like this by a pigeon! It didn't move, flinch nor seem to blink - just stare and keep eye contact. Then we realised where we were and left it in peace to do whatever it needed to do. I've added a photo of the name of the beach in Montevideo!
EOS M3, EF-S 55-250 at 250mm, ISO100, f8, 1/250. Light adjustments in LR Classic with Texture and Clarity being the main changes.

A bird. It is sharp. I would get ride of the distraction left bottom. Sorry, I dislike pigeons.   Posted: 03/09/2020 17:48:10

Thanks Mark, I hadn't taken much notice of the left side - I see what you mean.   Posted: 03/24/2020 12:37:37

He, she is definitely checking you out. I would like to see a tighter crop, to his , her shoulder. I am finding the rest a bit soft. Also you might consider putting a textue behind. ( Dress up this flying rat, like putting lipstick on a pig!).

The eyes are sharp. Beautiful colors. I would crop it and play with this image a little. Put a vignetting. I feel like this is a great image to do so many things with. It would be a good black and white too.   Posted: 03/22/2020 08:35:01

Thanks Linda, I looked at this in black and white and, although the feathers looked good, the eyes lost their intensity and disappeared into the image. Always worth a try!   Posted: 03/24/2020 12:35:02

What I should have said first was that I really liked the crop and vignette.   Posted: 03/24/2020 12:36:35
