Guinness Brewery by Mark McKinney

March 2020 - Guinness Brewery

About the Image(s)

This was taken at the Guinness brewery in Dublin. I have been there several times and it has some interesting photo possibilities.
Pentax full frame K 1. Focal length 35 mm. F 5.6, 1/80th second. Manual. EV “1.3. ISO 400. I used Topaz Impression to soften the
tile work. A good bit of dodge and burn. I did some cloning to get a little more tile above window.

I like the composition and the mono conversion helps focus on the light and textures. Topaz has had an interesting effect on the bricks and tiles that I quite like.   Posted: 03/17/2020 21:39:09

Nice image, and I like the black and white treatment. The Topaz impression makes an interesting effect, perhaps tone down the light portion from left to right under the bench.   Posted: 03/19/2020 20:50:36

The texture and lines are exquisite. Great reflection on the floor. My eye keeps going to the shape on the right-hand side. It looks like a half-circle.   Posted: 03/22/2020 08:15:12
