About the Image(s)

Was going to submit a dragon fly, but then along came a spider in my yard which I could not resist. I shot with my canon 6D, 70-200 lens with 1.4 extender effectively 280mm. I shot on a monopod due to awkward position and did not want shake. I used ISO 1000, 1000/sec, f 7.1. I went back to shoot with a higher f stop but rain washed the web away.

I processed with lightroom, as I usually do, with the formula I previously mentioned. I used Anthropics Creative Design to create an eerie effect. Friends around here liked this one and was interested in our group's responses.

Great impact. Very nice detail. Love the colors. The only thing I may do is to clone out the white spots on the right side by his back leg. My eyes keep going to that spot. Good Job.   Posted: 10/14/2019 15:44:25

Thank you. I think you are referring to the web. I do agree it is distracting, if that is what you are referring to.   Posted: 10/14/2019 16:53:19
