About the Image(s)

I took this of a friend's daughter, through a window. Canon EOS 700D with 18-135mm lens. ISO 400, F5.6 1/125. Adjusted contrast and saturation a little. Have a happy March everyone.

Soft. Dreamy. Very good composition. Profile is very nice and goes with the mood of the image. My eye keeps going to the left (a very light area). I think some of that area is important but not all of it. This might work better as a vertical or square image.   Posted: 03/19/2019 17:03:19

I first thought, soft dreamy beautiful image, I then read Mark's comment which used the same words. Well shot, the angle is good, the left eye is framed by a little dark area, shade and or hair and lips parted slightly. VERY pretty. I think looking forward into an open area is good, but would like the eyes higher and to the right for some reason. Just a thought about another crop. Lovely portrait.   Posted: 03/19/2019 17:17:00

I really like all 3 versions. The original has space to look into and dream. The vertical crops bring me more into her space and wondering where she is looking, which I like.   Posted: 03/26/2019 15:44:10

Toni, This image to me has so many possibilities. I tried it in Black and White, cropping just the face, high key and many more. Good Job. I tried it in BW, went in Photoshop and sharpened the eye, lips and nose. Great image.   Posted: 03/28/2019 10:53:13
