Hello Linda, I am visiting from Monochrome Group 32. I like you charming and interesting shot. I tried converting it to monochrome, and although I think it's OK in monochrome, I think the color tones in your original are preferable. I just include the monochrome here for the purposes of discussion, if anyone is interested. Thanks.   Posted: 10/05/2018 22:09:44

Very pretty and rustic. It generates a nice mood. Nice light and shadows. I am led directly to the Hay bundles. I like it.

This is an interesting photo. Exposure is good. Crop is good. The hay bales in the back are a plus!   Posted: 10/18/2018 21:25:40

I can smell the tobacco leaves and hay. Love the tones and textures. in my opinion the bright window on the right is a distraction. My eye keeps going to it. The green of the leaves outside the window on the left is a bit too vibrant . Overall, I find it a bit crunchy and would like to see the colors mellowed a bit. I am sure it isn't that pristine or vibrant.   Posted: 10/27/2018 09:17:52

I also looked at this as a mono image, and like Steve, I also prefer the original in colour. A well spotted image with good exposure and processing.   Posted: 10/28/2018 19:45:27

I love this image as much as I love old stuff! I completely agree with Lane, I can almost smell the smells associated with this environment. I do like the monochrome, but do prefer the colours. I wonder if an adjustment to the shadows may bring a little more detail? Great shot Linda!   Posted: 10/31/2018 14:21:49
