About the Image(s)

I liked the textures and patterns that these chopsticks made. I thought it would work as a contrasty and grainy mono image.
Taken with iPhone 6S, ISO 50 fixed lens and aperture 4.15mm and 2.2 with a shutter speed of 1/30. Initial processing in the phone to see if it would work, then extreme processing in LR Classic with contrast, highlights and clarity taken to the limits. I also used 3 adjustment brushes to darken the light areas in the background.

I love the pattern and your B&W treatment is spot on. Love it.   Posted: 01/08/2018 11:04:50

WOW! You hit it out of the PARK! I love the creativity, the composition is great. Look at all the angles and textures. In my opinion, the one thing you might consider is cloning out the left side and blurring, burning the back ground. ( My eye wonders back there ) The star of the show are the chopsticks. Good job.   Posted: 01/09/2018 22:36:45

I love the tones and geometric randomness. I do agree with Lane about the distraction on the left as you face it. Very creative !   Posted: 01/12/2018 13:14:42

This is a interesting image. Looks better in Black and White. I clean around the image to have the wood stand out more. Nice Image.   Posted: 01/29/2018 21:53:36
