About the Image(s)
This image was taken north of Yellowstone along Chief Joseph's Scenic Byway. The image doesn't really do the countryside justice as the scenery is absolutely breathtaking in person. It was taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV. Lens was a 70-300. Focal length was 100, exposure 1/5000, f10 and the ISO was 1000. It was hand held. It was taken in the afternoon with partly cloudy conditions. I especially liked the sun moving across the landscape.

I find the sun shining on the brown landscape, in front and the snow on the mountain top in the background . The clouds beyond , just makes this image great. i just keep staring at the whole image. I think it's a great image.   Posted: 03/05/2023 10:00:02
Thanks very much. It's always fun to find landscape opportunities when traveling. Not many opportunities in my part of the country. Does the small glacier bother anyone as it is somewhat overexposed. I could address it.

Great photo of a breathtaking landscape! Love how the shadows of the clouds create layers in the beautiful scenery. I feel like I am standing there myself waiting for the clouds to move so I can see more of the mountain left of the glacier. The glacier doesn't bother me but you could burn it a little.   Posted: 03/10/2023 11:58:58

The glacier definitely bothers me. I feel like the photo is too cramped.   Posted: 03/11/2023 17:09:02
Thanks Michael. I get the cramped and the glacier. Will revisit the originals I took and see what I come up with.   Posted: 03/12/2023 16:41:16
