About the Image(s)

This was taken at the front of my house in a flowering hedge.
I had to wait until one of the flowers bloomed, before the Gardner came around to trim the hedge again.

It was taken with me Panasonic FZ-200 mirrorless camera,

Stuart, I really like hibiscus flowers. We use to have many hibiscus plants in our garden growing up. They were mostly red flowers, this color in your photograph is very beautiful.
You have the entire flower in sharp focus. I think the stigma on the left of the flower is slightly over exposed. A really nice image.   Posted: 04/09/2021 13:58:30

Nice job! I agree with Sarita that the stigma is slightly over exposed. I would have burnt the top left just a tad. Everything is in sharp focus and the colors are beautiful.   Posted: 04/10/2021 14:28:00

The photo is blown out in that the tip of the stamen. This should be easy to in levels that the whites hit the right edge. I would lighten the black area a little. It has surprising sharpness for F4.   Posted: 04/10/2021 15:41:48

Love the hibiscus flower. It is very sharp with lots of detail and texture throughout. Yes, I would address the area that is overexposed. Great photo.   Posted: 04/17/2021 14:24:15
