Playing the Part by Holly Moore, PPSA

About the Image(s)

This image was taken several years ago at the Civil War Reenactment outside of Houston. It was taken with a Canon 5D Mark IV. The lens was an EF100-400. The exposure was 1/540, ISO 700 and the focal length was 300. This man seemed extremely "into the role" and I was impressed with his acting talent. The image is cropped. I used noise reduction, whitened his teeth and that's basically the extent of post processing.

A very nice portrait, I like the sharpness on his face and a slight sparkle from his eyes.Between the dark uniform and the straw hat makes his face stand out.   Posted: 10/05/2020 07:02:20

Good headshot. I really like this photo as you can see the glitter in his eyes. The photo is tact sharp, down to the buttons in his uniform and the hairs in his chin. The colors are very natural looking. Good job!   Posted: 10/05/2020 11:11:13

Great image. Everything is tack sharp; background is a perfect choice for this image and I love the expression on his face is almost priceless. My only suggestion might be would be put a catchlight in his eyes   Posted: 10/24/2020 20:23:34
